| I would love to wrap my entire car in satin black, but how much would it cost with labour? Also the vinyl you're using sounds pretty weird. Any more info on it? My mate used to work for Supply 1 (that sells vinyl to signmakers) and it was in the $20-30 per metre region. Good quality vinyl should also last for 5 years, according to him. The biggest cost is in the labour, since its a bitch of a task. The roof on the Z, which is a 2 curve surface, took another mate a good 2 hours to do. On something with more complex curves, it'd be a nightmare to do without bubbling. | |

| OK. 3M is a pretty good quality brand for most of their products. I'm not sure why its only rated to 2 years though. | |

the vinyl will last just...will it eat ur paint... Huh? The point of vinyl is that it doesn't damage the paint coming off. That's why its so popular overseas for doing graphics. You can easily and relatively cheaply change the design on your car without damaging the paintwork. With the modern, UV filtering, stuff it should leave the covered paint in better condition than the exposed panels. | |

| I think he means the use of the 3M glue. Maybe left over time can cause it to peal the paint off or the chemicals in the glue may disolve the paint | |
